How and when the HOA will be formed at your new development condominium building.
The Home Owners Association can be formed and control transitioned from the developer to the owners and HOA Board of Trustees after 90% of the units have closed. The specific amount of time the developer has to call a unit owner meeting to transition control is established in your Condominium Documents, which can be found in your owners portal in AppFolio. Because of this, it is common for there to be a bit of a lag in shifting HOA control in a new development building, and we appreciate your patience while we are in this transitional period.
