Details on changing the lock on your condominium unit.
If you are thinking about changing the lock on your condominium unit, please first inquire if your condominium building is on a master lock. You can find out this information from your Board of Trustees or Property Manager. If your building is on a master lock, you have two options:
- Use the locksmith that has been designated by the Association to hold the master key
- Check out the master key from your Property Manager to bring to the locksmith of your choosing.
If your building is not on a master lock, you may change out your lock at any time. However, please ensure that you notify your Property Manager of any changes.
